Esposito will play Calista Raines. The creative director of a luxury fashion brand, she's described as being "uber-fabulous" and "larger-than-life." A woman with a great sense of humor and style, she lives the socialite lifestyle, but ultimately has a "darker, more devious nature." Look for Calista to befriend Joss (Jes Macallan) and become her mentor.
Milano announced she was leaving the cast of Mistresses in October, the day after ABC renewed the series for a third season.
"After two wonderful seasons in Los Angeles, the studio has decided to shoot season three of Mistresses in Vancouver, Canada, for financial reasons," Milano said at the time. "It's with a heavy heart that I have decided that I can't relocate. I have two babies under 4. Being a mother and wife comes first and I just cannot uproot my children and separate the family by moving away. I will miss this job desperately and wish everyone the absolute best."
After departing Blue Bloods early in the drama's third season, Esposito most recently starred on the NBC procedural Taxi Brooklyn.
