Kirk popped the question on June 30, while the couple was vacationing in Europe. The two have been dating since January 2008 but didn't go public until September at the Emmys.This will be the first marriage for Kirk and the second for Fischer. The actress split from filmmaker James Gunn in 2007, after nearly seven years of marriage.
