Janet Jackson denied rumors that she has cancer with a personal Twitter message on Wednesday.

"The rumors are untrue. I do not have cancer. I'm recovering," she posted in a note attached to a clip of her song, "The Great Forever." "My doctors have approved my concerts as scheduled in Europe, and as I promised, the postponed shows will be rescheduled."

Jackson postponed her remaining U.S. tour dates of her Unbreakable Tour less than two weeks ago to have an unspecified surgical procedure. She has not elaborated on the specifics of her disease. Her European dates begin in March.
