On July 12, the heartthrob-soap star-Oscar host-performance artist-documentarian-student will release the three-song EP Turn It Up, according to Pitchfork. It's a collaborative effort with performance artist Kalup Linzy that will be released under the name Kalup & Franco and on the Dutty Artz label, which was co-founded by revered experimental electronic musician DJ /rupture.

The set will be available digitally, as well as on a limited-edition vinyl. Videos of its three songs — "Rising (Both Sides Now)," "Turn It Up (So We Can Turn It Out)" and "Fly Away" — are forthcoming and expected to feature "surprise guest cameos."
