Isaiah Washington: "I Hope These Words Disappear"

Isaiah Washington, poster child for censorship? On an appearance on Star Jones today on Court TV, the controversial former Grey’s Anatomy actor said, “I hope everything I’ve gone through in the last eight months is not in vain. I hope that everyone gets it, on both sides of the spectrum, and that these words disappear in our vernacular.” Washington also opened up to Star Jones about how he learned about the murder of his father, also named Isaiah Washington, from the TV news when he was 13. “I knew that I was going to go on a journey to try to take that name and turn it into a positive, if I ever got a chance to go on television.” —Reporting by Marissa Klein
