Howard Kurtz to Make Fox News Debut in September

Howard Kurtz's new series MediaBuzz will premiere on Fox News Channel in early September, the network announced Monday.

Kurtz previously hosted CNN's Reliable Sources, but left the network in June. Earlier this year, he came under fire for making controversial remarks about the coming out of NBA player Jason Collins. He later apologized.

Fall TV Preview: The biggest cast shakeups

MediaBuzz will follow a similar format as Reliable Sources, with Kurtz interviewing journalists and commentators. Lauren Ashburn will also be featured as a contributor.
