The very first Peanuts holiday special, A Charlie Brown Christmas has been an annual staple of the season since it first hit the small screen back in 1965 on CBS, and 2018 will be no exception to that long-standing tradition.

Once again, fans will get to watch as Charles M. Schulz's prized pessimist Charlie Brown discovers the spirit of Christmas Day, after his pal Linus shows him that there's so much more to the holiday than just gifts and garland.

The half-hour special will air on ABC as part of its 25 Days of Christmas lineup on Thursday, Dec. 6 at 8/7c and again on Thursday, Dec. 20 at 8/7c. Both airings will be immediately followed by Charlie Brown's Christmas Tales, which again features Charlie along with Snoopy, Linus, Lucy and Sally, in a series of mini-stories.

A Charlie Brown Christmas is also available for purchase on Amazon Prime and Vudu, while Charlie Brown's Christmas Tales can be streamed for free on Amazon Prime with a subscription.

If that's enough Peanuts joy for this season, ABC will also be airing a couple of the holiday specials that followed the original, including I Want a Dog for Christmas, Charlie Brown on Friday, Dec. 21 at 8/7c and Happy New Year, Charlie Brown! on Thursday, Dec. 27 at 8/7c.
