It was the third-biggest March opening ever, and a personal best for Latifah and Martin. The Bruce Willis war flick Tears of the Sun opened in second place with $17.2, followed by Old School (No. 3 with $9.2 million), Chicago (No. 4 with $6.9 million) and How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days (No. 5 with $6.8 million).
