The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug stayed on top of the box office for a second week in a row, drawing an estimated $31.4 million, which brings its domestic total to $127.5 million, according to Box Office Mojo.

Anchorman 2: The Legend Continuesgot off to a relatively decent start, drawing $26.78 million over the weekend, failing to surpass the original Anchorman's debut of $28.4 million in July 2004. Paramount is expecting the five-day gross to reach an estimated $40 million.

Disney's Frozen slipped a spot to No. 3 with $19.16 million in its fourth week in theaters. American Hustlefollowed in fourth place with $19.1 million, while Saving Mr. Banksdrew $9.32 million.
