He might portray underachieving bartender Nick Miller on New Girl, but Jake Johnson is assuming a more authoritarian role on Fox's Animation Domination High-Def original High School USA! Johnson voices Mr. Structor, the school's principal that the actor describes as "a true weirdo and a lonely, over-worked dude."

This isn't Johnson's first venture into the world of voice acting. He previously appeared on Fox's short-lived Allen Gregory in 2011 as bully Joel Zadak. "I love the freedom of animated work," Johnson says. "The voice doesn't have to fit what I look like. I'm also such a fan of animated shows, so it's a blast to do the voice. I hope I do more."

Check out an exclusive clip below from this week's High School USA!, entitled "The Early 90s," as Mr. Structor gives his students the assignment to experience a weekend without cell phones or computers.

High School USA! airs as part of Fox's Animation Domination High-Def block on Saturdays at 11/10c.
