We officially reached peak '90s nostalgia over the summer when the world became so obsessed with Pokemon Go that people literally started losing it in their quests to catch 'em all.

But as we know, anything that's extremely popular also attracts its fair share of haters, like Oscar winner Oliver Stone who has linked the game to "totalitarianism." In the other corner, you have people like Ariana Grande who couldn't give a crap if Pokemon Go eventually leads us to become "a robot society," as Stone so dramatically put it.
