Goodbye, Speidi: Heidi Montag Files for Divorce from Spencer Pratt

Heidi Montag filed for divorce Friday from Spencer Pratt, citing irreconcilable differences, according to People.

"Heidi has amended her petition for separation and today has filed a petition for dissolution of marriage from Spencer Pratt," Montag's lawyer, Jodeane Farrell, told the magazine. "The couple has agreed they would like their divorce to be finalized in a timely manner in an out-of-court settlement. Both parties are amicable with each other and over the possibility of finalizing their divorce."

Montag, 23, filed for legal separation in June, a week after she announced she had moved out of the Pacific Palisades home she shared with Pratt, 26.

Pratt told People that his being a "fame whore" contributed to their split. "We love each other, but I'm a fame whore and I'll never grow out of it," he said. "She thought I'd burn out of this, but no, I'm still the same Spencer who went on The Hills to be famous."

The Hillsstars began dating in 2006 and got married last April.

Calls and emails to the couple's rep and Montag's lawyer were not immediately returned.
