Heathers, the Paramount Network's series adaptation of the cult classic 1989 movie, is back on the schedule. It's now set to premiere on Tuesday, July 10, the show's Instagram account announced.

The dark comedy series, in which high school students die violently, was originally slated to premiere March 7, but was postponed in the wake of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting in Parkland, Florida in which 17 people were murdered.

"Paramount Network's original series Heathers is a satirical comedy that takes creative risks in dealing with many of society's most challenging subjects ranging from personal identity to race and socio-economic status to gun violence," the network said in a statement at the time. "While we stand firmly behind the show, in light of the recent tragic events in Florida and out of respect for the victims, their families and loved ones, we feel the right thing to do is delay the premiere until later this year."

The premiere episode of the series was posted online on Feb. 21, a week after the Parkland shooting. It received largely negative reviews.

Heathers premieres Tuesday, July 10 on the Paramount Network.
