The Roys might be one of TV's most despicable families but they're not going away anytime soon: HBO has renewed Succession for Season 2.

The story follows the wealthy moguls who control one of the biggest media conglomerates in the world. As Logan (Brian Cox), the patriarch of the family, prepares to step down from the empire he built due to illness, his children must figure out their next move. If you enjoy watching rich dysfunctional families slowly destroy each other from the inside out, this might be the show for you.

Alongside Cox, the series also stars Jeremy Strong, Hiam Abbass, Sarah Snook, Alan Ruck, Kieran Culkin, Nicholas Braun Matthew MacFadyen, Natalie Gold and Peter Friedman.

HBO's Succession Is a Qualified Success

The dramedy was created by Fresh Meat's Jesse Armstrong. Plus, comedy great Adam McKay directed the first episode. Season 1 consists of 10 episodes.

Succession continues Sundays at 10/9c on HBO.
