Hayley Atwell Is Totally Down for an Agent Carter Movie

Hayley Atwell hasn't given up hope for more Agent Carter.

Although the ABC drama was sadly canceled after two seasons, Atwell said she is "100 percent" open to playing Peggy Carter again, whether that be in a third season or a potential movie.

"I love Peggy," Atwell said at MegaCon in Orlando. "I love the people that were working on this project together. The fans are incredibly warm and welcoming. And it would be an absolute privilege and honor to bring her back for the fans."

As for what an Agent Carter movie would entail, Atwell said she'd love it to focus on how the SSR ultimately becomes SHIELD.

The actress also gave hints at the proposed plans for a third season. "There was talk of Season 3 of going further back into her past," Atwell said. "So the showrunners were talking about a possible kind of twist, I suppose, into something to do with the family. ... They suggested there would be more to do with my brother. So that's all I can say."

But while we wait and campaign for an Agent Carter revival, fans can at least still get their Atwell fix this fall when she stars in the new ABC dramaConviction.
