Are We Hearing Things, Or Did Grover Drop the F-Bomb on Sesame Street?

Like Yanny or Laurel or The Dress, we've got another internet perception mystery on our hands. This time, Sesame Street is at the center of an f-bomb conspiracy.

Reddit user schrodert1 posted the clip in question on the aggregator site Thursday afternoon where Grover appears to say the f-word...if your mind is tuned in that direction anyway. The Sesame Street crew is in the middle of a project when its suggested they move the camera. Grover then says, "Yes, yes! That sounds like an excellent idea," but if you're more NSFW inclined, you can hear him say, "Yes, yes! That's a f---ing excellent idea!"

Just like the former audio mystery of the internet, Yanny or Laurel, you can hear it either way depending on which way you decide to hear it before the clip begins. So no, Sesame Street isn't suddenly trying to go racy now that it's settled on HBO. It's all about our perception, and according to the over 100k upvotes, we love to think like cursing sailors.
