On Saturday, Comic-Con attendees in Ballroom 20 got a look at the upcoming season of Grimm.

The panel with retrospective video of Season 4. Then, we saw a saw scene from the beginning of Season 5: Juliette, in her coffin at her funeral.

The panel featured cast members David Giuntoli, Russell Hornsby, Silas Weir Mitchell, Reggie Lee, Sasha Roiz, Bree Turner and Claire Coffee, as well as executive producers/writers Jim Kouf, David Greenwalt and Norberto Barba.

Moderator Lynette Rice began by asking Greenwalt if Juliette is really dead, likening her death in the finale to Jon Snow's on Game of Thrones as a possible misdirection. He said that yes, she is indeed dead.

Also coming this season: "We're gonna explain the damn keys!" Greenwalt said. "We still don't know what they do, but we're gonna explain it."

Another big shocker from Season 4 was when Adalind (Coffee) told Nick she was pregnant from their one-time encounter. "Adalind and I have to co-parent, which is going to be so bizarre," Giuntoli said. He said Nick lost his mom and love interest in the finale, and teased that he "loses something else" at the beginning of Season 5.

Some more highlights:

Rosalee's addictions resurface Fans were thrilled to see Rosalee and Monroe (Mitchell) get together, but it's not happily ever after. "Her addictions come back to the story line, and that causes some major problems for the couple," Turner said. "She really struggles with her past skeletons."

Sgt. Wu plays a bigger part on the team "I find myself bringing some smarts to the team and some technical skills," Lee said. "Also, I have more outfits this season."

Back to basics Roiz teased that now that the Royals are all dead, his character will have time to revisit earlier plotlines. "We're getting back to a lot of the mythology of Season 1, and a lot of the web of politics," Roiz said.

Adalind has to focus on the baby -- and find a job "She lost her powers this season, again, she lost her job, again," Coffee said. "She's a lawyer... she'll scour Craigslist or something."

We'll see Nick's mom again "In flashbacks," Kouf clarified.

New monsters are coming! The Loch Ness Monster and gila monsters will both be in Season 5.

Grimm returns to NBC on Friday, Oct. 30 at 9/8c.
