If you are champing at the bit for Station 19 to premiere, TGIT is planning a special treat for you.

The Grey's Anatomyspin-offdoesn't officially premiere until March 22 with a two-hour opener, but series star Jaina Lee Ortiz will guest-star on Grey's sooner than that. Ortiz' character Andy Herrera will make a special appearance on Grey's Anatomy on the March 1 episode in a crossover of sorts.

The official log line for the episode reads: "Seattle Firefighters, Ben Warren and Andy Herrera, head to Grey Sloan after rescuing two boys that are injured in a house fire. With one of the boys lives literally in Andy's hands, her skills are put to the test. Meanwhile, the doctors are hard at work on their projects for the Grey Sloan Surgical Innovation Contest and Amelia brings Tom Koracick in to consult on her and Alex's patient."

The First Station 19 Trailer Delivers All the Action, Hook-Ups and Puppies You Need

The episode will introduce fans to Andy, who headlines Station 19 and is a veteran firefighter under her father Capt. Pruitt Herrera (Miguel Sandoval). Andy having to show off her skills for the doctors makes it clearer why Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) is so familiar with her in the premiere trailer for Station 19.

Get ready for the drama to heat up! The special crossover event airs Thursday, March 1 at 8/7c on ABC.
