Why does Herman want to give up?
On this week's episode of Grey's Anatomy, Dr. Herman (Geena Davis) is about at her wit's end with the treatment she's undergoing in order to deal with her brain tumor. There's just one problem: Amelia Shepherd (Caterina Scorsone) isn't quite ready to throw in the towel just yet.

With Amelia arguing that she's trying to save Dr. Herman's life, and Dr. Herman countering that the treatment makes her feel like she's already died, the two surgeons find themselves involved in a full-on shouting match in the halls of Grey Sloan Memorial. Who will prevail? (The hour's title, "Staring at the End," is perhaps an ominous indicator.)
