Grey's Anatomyreturned for its 10th season Thursday, picking up exactly where we left off. As the hospital struggles to stay afloat in the midst of the super-storm, a mudslide sends dozens of new patients in. But there are two particular patients that the doctors of Grey Sloan Memorial have a vested interest in keeping alive. Webber, who was electrocuted in the Season 9 finale, is one of them. Read on to find out who's the other:

Webber and Brooks: Surprisingly for two characters that have shared so little screen time, their storylines are intertwined in the premiere. When Bailey sends Shane to find Webber, he tricks Brooks into carrying out the mission so he can work with Derek. She discovers Webber's body down by the generator, but when she runs to tend to him, she gets electrocuted herself and hits her head.

Derek and Shane: Once their bodies are found, Derek works to save Brooks' life. Shane, however, is feeling the guilt over his actions and is hesitant throughout the surgery. Derek is heartbroken when Brooks ends up dying in surgery.

Bailey and Cristina: Meanwhile, Bailey and Cristina disagree on how to treat Webber, so Owen suggests they look at his health directive. It turns out, Webber named Meredith as his next of kin, meaning she has to be the one to make the decision on what to do. Meredith, who has been working from her hospital bed, decides to side with Bailey, which initially ends up being a bad idea.

Catherine Avery: She shows up during the surgery on Webber, yelling at Bailey to close him up. Catherine blames Bailey, saying she's just trying to atone for calling Richard an alcoholic last season. But when Catherine wants to move Richard, Meredith gives Bailey a vote of confidence and lets her take Webber back into surgery. Bailey turns out to be right and Richard survives.

Calzona: It's not long before everyone finds out that Arizona cheated on Callie with Dr. Boswell. The duo is forced to work together on a mudslide patient, but Callie has choice words for her philandering wife. Still, Arizona admits she has said things she regrets, referring to when she yelled at her in the finale. Arizona thinks this will only make their relationship stronger. But when Arizona later returns home, she's heartbroken to find that Callie has taken Sofia and moved out of their apartment and into Meredith and Derek's McMansion. Callie decides to make it a more permanent move, which mean she and Arizona will switch off custody of Sofia every two nights. This is very difficult for Arizona, who has a hard time being away from their daughter. Sniff.

The interns: After Brooks dies, her fellow interns realize that they don't really know each other. (For the record, Leah has become my favorite intern.) Meredith gives the group advice when they can't come up with stories to tell Brooks' mother. In turn, they steal Meredith's stories about George and pass them off as being about Brooks. They do get drunk and bond, though, and we learn that Leah's mom knew Mark Sloan, who got her in the program. Also, Jo and Alex try to get physical a few times, but it doesn't really work out. Eventually, the interns all run after Shane when he decides to go help out with the mudslide cleanup, effectively bonding them together for good.

April and Jackson: Speaking of interns, earlier in the episode, April and Jackson were interrupted by Stephanie coming in to look after him following his near-death experience in the bus explosion. When Stephanie finds out about Brooks, she interrupts them once again. This time, Matthew catches a glimpse of them and realizes that April has feelings for Jackson. Jackson, however, calls April out, stating that she doesn't really want him now, she is just scared of having something real with Matthew. April then decides to propose to Matthew in the chapel in front of God.

Cristina and Owen: Cristina admits to Mer that she's ended things with Owen, but Mer thinks it's just another one of their phases. She's partially right since Owen and Cristina later end up in an on-call room. Twice. Even though she was the one to make the decision, Cristina admits it's not easy for her to walk away from him. But at the end of the episode, it seems like she's taking baby steps at really walking away. (Pass the tissues.)
