The Good Wife spin-off added two more heavy hitters to its roster on Thursday. Bernadette Peters and CSI alum Paul Guilfoyle have joined the series, which hits CBS All Access in early 2017, according to Deadline. Guilfoyle and Peters will play Henry and Lenore, the parents of Maia (Rose Leslie) who is the show's central protagonist and a young lawyer whose reputation is destroyed by a financial crisis. Henry is a successful beloved and very wealthy financial advisor. Lenore came from a working class background but it also a natural financial whiz. According to Deadline, Lenore is the one who grew Henry's fortune through the family's private investment firm. Henry, Lenore and Maia are considered the "unofficial First Family of Chicago." Rose Leslie joins The Good Wife spin-offThe financial crisis that sets off the series will also wipeout the savings of Maia's mentor, Diane Lockhart (Christine Baranski), sending the both of them to join Lucca Quinn's (Cush Jumbo) Chicago law firm. The Good Wife spin-off is being executive produced by the show's creators Robert and Michelle King and will premiere on CBS in February 2017.
