Former President George W. Bush says he hopes his brother, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, continues to family tradition and runs for president in 2016. "I hope Jeb runs," Bush told CNN. "I think he would be a great president."

Bush said that while it might be hard for people to believe, he hasn't spoken to Jeb about his future plans. That being said, Bush said Jeb's decision won't be influenced by outside factors. "I can guarantee he's not looking at a poll to decide whether or not he wants to run," he said. "He's checking his core. And as he said publicly, 'I'm thinking about my family.' And of course he knows full well what a run for the presidency can do on the family. After all he's seen his dad and his brother run for president."
