The Game of Thrones Finale Featured a Water Bottle Blunder, Even After Starbucks-Gate

A couple weeks ago, we had Game of ThronesStarbucks-gate. Now, the series finale episode has gifted us with a water bottle blunder. Seriously, someone was just phoning it in this season, weren't they?

The final episode of Game of Thrones had barely finished airing before eager fans were picking it apart, and it didn't take long for them to spot another little slip-up. In the council meeting scene, where all the Lords and Ladies of Westeros met up to decide who would be king after Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) was murdered by Jon Snow (Kit Harington), one character was apparently feeling parched. A poorly concealed water bottle can just barely be spotted behind the legs of one of the chairs in the Dragonpit, and this time the culprit appears to be none other than Samwell Tarly (John Bradley).

First you suggest democracy and now this? Someone was feeling a little over-confident in his first meeting as Lord of Horn Hill.

A second water bottle was eventually spotted elsewhere in the scene -- really people, get it together -- this time behind Ser Davos' (Liam Cunningham) chair. His obviously makes more sense; he's the only person not of noble birth at this little council meeting, and it figures a peasant would pull something like this.

In all seriousness, the Dragonpit scenes were filmed in the ruins of Italica in Spain, and the cast shot them in May of last year. Temperatures can get up into the '90s at that time of year, so it's probably best the cast was staying hydrated while wearing all that armor and finery.
