Here's the Game of Thrones Character Bookies Bet Will Die Next

The next episode of Game of Thrones is probably (read: definitely) going to be a bloodbath.

The White Walkers have officially reached Winterfell, and given Jon Snow (Kit Harington)'s track record for shoddy battle-planning, the North is bound to suffer some serious casualties at the hands of the Night King's army. As for who will actually die, well, we've certainly got our suspicions, but it's still just a guessing game at this point.

Among those who are willing to pony up some cash to make wagers about the likeliest Game of Thrones character(s) to die first, it looks like Theon Greyjoy (Alfie Allen) is the heavy favorite to get the frozen ax in the battle ahead.

US-Bookies.com assembled some statistics about which characters gamblers are favoring to perish first, and Theon leads the pack, now that he's back in the Starks' homestead and willing to cover Bran Stark (Isaac Hempstead-Wright) in the field.

Just behind him is Jaime Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau), whose redemption tour has finally brought him into Brienne of Tarth (Gwendoline Christie)'s service on the left flank, even though his fighting skills have certainly been diminished by the loss of his good hand.

Theon Greyjoy: 5 to 4
Jaime Lannister: 3 to 1
Euron Greyjoy: 5 to 1
Cersei Lannister: 15 to 2
Yara Greyjoy: 10 to 1

Interestingly enough, the same site has also revealed some stats about who is most likely to kill the Night King (which is a pretty big leap of faith if you ask us, but sure):

Jon Snow: 5 to 4
Arya Stark: 7 to 4
Bran Stark: 7 to 2
Night King remains alive: 7 to 2
Daenerys Targaryen: 5 to 1
