Gabi Gregg Wins MTV's Twitter Jockey Contest

VJs are so last century.
Meet MTV's first-ever TJ ("Twitter Jockey"): Gabi Gregg.
The 23-year-old won a nationwide vote Sunday to become the social-media face of the network. Gregg, who founded the fashion blog Young, Fat and Fabulous, will report on pop culture via Twitter, Facebook, blogs and the MTV site.

She will tweet primarily from @mtvtj, but will maintain her personal account, @gabifresh."I cannot express my gratitude in 140 characters," she tweeted Sunday. "I love all of you so much."A Detroit native and current Chicago resident, Gregg graduated in 2008 from Mount Holyoke College in Massachusetts, where she studied international relations and African-American studies.
