Frozenfans won't have to let it go just yet - Disney is developing a sequel to the animated hit.

ABC executives and Frozen star Josh Gad made the announcement at a shareholder meeting on Thursday, according to The Wrap. The news comes on the heels of Frozen Fever, a short film that will air in theaters ahead of Disney's new film Cinderella, which opens Friday.

"We enjoyed making Frozen Fever so much and being back in that world with those characters," Disney's Chief Creative Officer John Lasseter said Thursday. "Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck have come up with a great idea for a sequel and you will be hearing a lot more about it and we're taking you back to Arendelle. We are so excited about that."

Shortly after the announcement, star Kristen Bell tweeted the following:

Frozen is the highest-grossing animated movie ever, with a $1.27 billion box office haul. There's also a Broadway version in the works.
