Fox Shelves I Hate My Teenage Daughter; Idol Gets Expanded Wednesdays

Fox's I Hate My Teenage Daughter, which had originally been scheduled to move to Wednesdays following American Idol, has been shelved until the summer, Deadline reports. The sitcom currently airs on Tuesdays at 8:30/7:30c, but was supposed to switch to Wednesdays at 9:30/8:30c beginning in April.

Fox's I Hate My Teenage Daughter, which had originally been scheduled to move to Wednesdays following American Idol, has been shelved until the summer, Deadline reports.
The sitcom currently airs on Tuesdays at 8:30/7:30c, but was supposed to switch to Wednesdays at 9:30/8:30c beginning in April. For now, the show's last original episode until summer will air in its current timeslot on April 3.

The change means that Idol will likely stick to its two-hour performance show format for the remainder of the season.Tuesday's episode of Teenage Daughter averaged 3.5 million viewers (down from last week's 3.8 million), and landed a startling  1.3 rating (down from last week's 1.8) in the adults 18-to-49 demographic.
