Fox has added four new series to its fall lineup.

Among them is The Grinder, a legal family comedy starring Rob Lowe, a John Stamos- fronted comedy, and a procedural drama called Rosewood.

The Grinder is about a TV actor who moves back home after his longtime run as an onscreen lawyer comes to an end. He decides his chops as a television attorney make him qualified to run his family's small-town law firm. Rob Lowe, who will also executive-produce, is the actor playing the actor playing a lawyer.

In Grandfathered, Stamos plays a confirmed bachelor who finds out he's actually a father -- and a grandfather. Stamos will also executive- produce, and the cast also includes Josh Peck, Paget Brewster, Christina Milian, and Ravi Patel.

A third comedy, The Guide to Surviving Life, features a 26-year-old with a camera, who decides to make fellow young people a guide to surviving your 20s. Jack Cutmore Scott will play the world-weary lead, with Meaghan Rath and James Earl co-starring.

Fall TV Preview: New shows coming in 2015-2016

On the drama side, Rosewood is a procedural starring Morris Chestnut as Dr. Beaumont Rosewood, Jr., an unbearably optimistic private pathologist in Miami who has a Sherlock Holmes-style eye for details others miss. Despite having a job that requires him to pore over corpses and look for evidence in gruesome murders, Dr. Rosewood is -- irony alert! -- obsessed with all the good things life has to offer. Reportedly, this will not jibe with a lot of his cynical colleagues, including a lady detective with whom he often works. We predict a "sure, he's tough to work with, but damn it, he's good at his job!" vibe from this one.
