Michael J. Fox is returning to the small screen — but just behind-the-scenes. The Emmy-winning actor — who left ABC's Spin City last season to focus on his battle against Parkinson's disease — is developing a new comedy series for Lifetime, Variety reports. Fox would serve as executive producer of the project, described as a quirky romantic comedy that tracks a couple from their engagement through married life. It's based on Suzanne Finnamore's book Otherwise Engaged. The series could launch as early as 2002.
