The Following Exclusive Sneak Peek: Ryan and Joe Face Off

Ryan Hardy and Joe Carroll are finally coming face-to-face.

The two nemeses have a showdown at the Korban compound on Monday's episode of The Following, where Ryan (Kevin Bacon) attempts to kidnap Joe (James Purefoy).

It's reminiscent of the men's confrontation in the Season 1 finale — only this time, Hardy is out for blood. "My reason for living right now is not to put him back in jail," Bacon recently told TVGuide.com about his character. "I want to kill him. I want to see him dead. ... I'm fighting him so that I can once and for all put him in the ground, and I don't care what that's going to take."

But in the exclusive sneak peek below, Joe presents a pretty compelling reason why Ryan should spare his life. Check out the clip:
