Audiences sure feasted on Sunday night's premiere of Fear the Walking Dead. A record 10.1 million viewers tuned in for the Walking Dead spin-off's debut, making the series the No. 1 series premiere in cable history.

The episode also delivered 6.3 million viewers in the coveted 18-49 demographic. The huge audience makes AMC the network of three of the top five cable premieres of all time, including Fear the Walking Dead, The Walking Dead's premiere in 2010 and Better Call Saul's earlier this year.

Who is the hero of Fear the Walking Dead?

"Thank you and congratulations to Robert Kirkman, Dave Erickson, the brilliant executive producers and the entire cast and crew of Fear the Walking Dead," said Charlie Collier, president of AMC. "Of course none of it is possible without the fans, whose passion leads to these remarkable results."
