Farrah Fawcett: It's Time for a Miracle

Farrah Fawcett is praying for a miracle in her battle with terminal cancer, saying, "I do not want to die of this disease."
"I want to stay alive. So I say to God, because it is, after all, in his hands: It is seriously time for a miracle," Fawcett says in her new documentary, Farrah's Story, parts of which aired on Today Thursday.
The self-made, two-hour documentary will air Friday on NBC. The special will feature footage of Fawcett, her longtime partner Ryan O'Neal, friends and family as the actress sought alternative treatments in Germany.
O'Neal appeared on Thursday's Today in a sit-down with Meredith Vieira and said he's been preparing himself for Fawcett's passing.
"I let her go weeks ago and weeks ago, but she came back," O'Neal says. "So I said, 'Well, don't! Don't do this. Let's stay. We'll figure it out.'"
The heartbroken actor says time is running out in Fawcett's nearly three-year fight. "I keep promising to take her to Italy. She said, 'I'll drive.' I don't think there'll be a trip to Italy."
He also said he sometimes wishes Fawcett would go to sleep so she won't suffer anymore, but he says he knows "that's not my right."
Fawcett, 62, remains in stable condition.
"Cancer is a disease that is mysterious, headstrong and makes its own rules. And mine, to this date, is incurable," she says in another clip. "I know that everyone will die eventually, but I do not want to die of this disease."
