FALL 2006: CASTING ABOUT

Law & Order alum Angie Harmon has been tapped to star in the ABC pilot Secrets of a Small Town, a murder mystery penned by Desperate Housewives producer Charles Pratt Jr.... The Daily Show's Rob Corddry has the title role in Fox's Becoming Glenn, in which a fortysomething guy reflects on his life as a 32-year-old slacker living at home.... ABC has greenlit Southern Comfort (Bill Gates nerd-turned-billionaire moves back to his small hometown) and Mr. Nice Guy (the life of a shlimazel), while NBC has ordered The Singles Table (five strangers meet and bond at a mutual pal's wedding) and a comedy about two brothers — one a Fed, one a con — who are neighbors.
