Every Former American Idol Judge Will Return for Its Final Season

American Idol's next season will be its last and, already, it seems that the show has plans to go out with a bang: Every former judge will return for the final season, Access Hollywood reports.

Yup, that means we'll see Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul, Randy Jackson, Steven Tyler, Ellen DeGeneres, Nicki Minaj and Kara DioGuardi all hold court at some point during the show's swan song -- even Mariah Carey, who once called the show "so boring and so fake." Drama!

American Idol reminds us of its legacy in teaser for final season

Ryan Seacrest announced the news today, saying, "I've spoken to all of them recently and we as a team have talked to them about coming back to do something for the final season. They are going to do it; it's just a matter of figuring what to do with them."
