The Lyon family is with her. The cast of Empire banded together for a new ad urging people to vote for Hillary Clinton.

Taraji P. Henson, Trai Byers, Jussie Smollett, Tasha Smith, Gabourey Sidibe, Bryshere Gray, Grace Byers voiced their support for the Democratic candidate in the video, which was directed by and featured Empire creator Lee Daniels. The entire cast (minus Terrence Howard) took the opportunity to explain why they plan to vote for Clinton, reasons that included the former secretary of state's support of Black Lives Matter, Obamacare and more restrictions on gun control.

"The violence and nasty rhetoric against mankind is unacceptable. If Trump gets into office, it will only get worse," the actors said in the video, which first aired during Wednesday's Empire.
