Emmys: This Is Why the Stars Are Wearing Green Ribbons

If you were wondering why so many celebrities at the Emmys were accessorizing their gowns and tuxes with green ribbons, don't worry. We have you covered.

The ribbons are to show support for the Environmental Protection Agency and if you look really closely, you'll notice they even have the phrase "Demand Climate Action" on them. Everyone including Jeffrey Tambor, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Louis C.K., Don Cheadle and Mandy Patinkin were spotted sporting the political accessory during the awards.

Last year, some stars wore green ribbons to the ceremony to support the Green Ribbon Campaign, a movement to promote discussion about mental health.
