Do lies really tie these teens together?
Good news, Élite fans! Everyone's favorite Spanish teen drama is headed back to Netflix for what appears to be an extremely juicy Season 2.
Netflix released the trailer for Élite's second season on Tuesday, and it's full of sex, side eye, and secrets. The trailer shows Samuel (Itzan Escamilla) vowing to prove his brother's innocence, "whatever the cost," but that will mean discovering the truth about Polo (Álvaro Rico) and Carla's (Ester Expósito) role in Marina's (María Pedraza) murder. When it comes to those two, the tagline of the trailer, "Lies tie us together," couldn't be more true. Something tells us they're going to crack before the season is out.
Élite took the world by storm with its first season, a cool blend of Gossip Girland How to Get Away With Murder. In fact, it was so successful that it became one of the few shows Netflix published viewing numbers for, claiming that the Spanish language series "attracted more than 20 million households during its first four weeks on service."
