Exclusive: The West Wing's Ron Canada Heads to Elementary

The West Wing alum Ron Canada will guest-star on an upcoming episode of Elementary, TVGuide.com has learned exclusively.

Canada will play Manny Rose, a retired high school teacher from a crime-plagued Brooklyn neighborhood who's dedicated his life to improving his community and keeping his students away from gangs and drugs. In the episode, Rose and Detective Bell (Jon Michael Hill) lock horns over whether to force a frightened teenaged girl to testify in a murder trial. The episode is slated to air in March.

Best known for playing Under Secretary of State Theodore Barrow on the NBC political drama, Canada also recurred on Boston Legalas Judge Willard Reese. His recent credits include Blue Bloods, The Closerand The Mentalist.

Elementary airs Thursdays at 10/9c on CBS.
