Eddie Cibrian Books Chase Guest Spot

Less than two months after losing his gig on CSI: Miami, Eddie Cibrian is saddling up for his return to TV.
The 37-year-old actor has landed a multi-episode arc on NBC's new drama Chase, Cibrian's rep confirmed to TVGuide.com. On the series, which follows a group of U.S. Marshals, Cibrian will play a bounty hunter for at least two episodes. The arc is scheduled to begin in October, according to Entertainment Weekly, which first reported the news.

CSI: Miami drops Eddie Cibrian

Cibrian joined CSI: Miami last season to fill the void left by departing series regular Adam Rodriguez, who has since returned full-time. Cibrian was let go in June so that the show could move the focus back to the original core team, according to a source close to the series.Chase, starring Kelli Giddish and Cole Hauser, premieres Monday, Sept. 20 at 10/9c.
