Ed Helms Sells Comedy to ABC From Archer Writer

Ed Helms may be returning to TV quicker than expected! At least behind the scenes.

The Office alum has sold a single-camera comedy pilot to ABC from Archerwriter Mike Arnold, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Which TV businesses would you invest in?

Helms will executive-produce the untitled comedy about on a gifted but dysfunctional metropolitan female lawyer who moves to a small town and has difficulty adjusting. Arnold will also executive-produce the comedy, as will Mike Flabo.

Helms served as a producer on the final season of The Office, which wrapped in May after nine seasons. He also recently starred in The Hangover Part III and We're the Millers.
