The cult adventures are over

After two seasons, the E! series that was definitely not about Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise's bizarre Scientology relationship has come to an end.

E! will not be renewing The Arrangementfor a third season. "Over two seasons, E!'s scripted series, The Arrangement, has taken viewers inside the world of an A-list movie star filled with secrets, scandal and romance," an E! spokesperson told Variety. "While we have decided not to move forward with the series, we are incredibly grateful to the cast and our production partners."

That's right, folks. The Hollywood cult adventures are over.

The Arrangement was one of only two scripted series on E!, the other being The Royals, which has not yet received word about a fifth season pick up. In November of 2017, 25 cast and crew members of The Royals accused executive producer Mark Schwahn of sexual harassment last year, which has left its renewal chances in an even more precarious position.

Could this be the end of scripted content at E!?
