MC Hammer has been tapped to perform at VH1's Hip-Hop Honors, a tribute to groundbreaking hip-hop artists. The old-school rapper joins Public Enemy, the Beastie Boys, Law & Order: SVU's Ice-T and others for the inaugural performance. Honorees Krs-One, Sugar Hill Gang, Run DMC and the late Tupac Shakur will be recognized in the special, set to air Oct. 12.
