Donald Trump's chronic verbal diarrhea has gotten him banned from the big kids' table.

Despite being the frontrunner for the Republican presidential nomination as of last week, Trump was uninvited from a meeting among top conservatives in Atlanta this weekend because of comments he made about Fox News' Megyn Kelly, who anchored the first GOP debate on Thursday night.

Trump apparently took issue with Kelly hammering him during the debate about disparaging comments he's made about women. On Friday, he told CNN: "You could see there was blood coming out of her eyes, blood coming out of her wherever."

Erick Erickson of RedState promptly made it clear that Trump would not be welcome at the weekend gathering in the wake of his statement. "If you haven't heard, I disinvited Donald Trump," Erickson said Saturday morning, according to ABC News. "It's disrespectful to Megyn Kelly. It's disrespectful to female journalists. I don't want my daughter in the room with Donald Trump."

Many of Trump's GOP rivals, including Mike Huckabee, Jeb Bush, Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio, Scott Walker and Rick Perry, are scheduled to attend the RedState event.

Trump, for his part, insists that he was referring to Kelly's nose. "Only a deviant would think anything else," his campaign said in a statement to ABC.
