DOES PETE APPROVE?

Country crooner Hank Williams Jr. has been tapped to replace Toby Keith as the opening act on ABC's July 4th special In Search of America. Keith allegedly was given the boot at the urging of Search host Peter Jennings, who deemed his controversial Sept. 11 tribute song, Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue (The Angry American), inappropriate. Not surprisingly, ABC denies this.
