Clinton suffered a concussion after she became dehydrated and fainted several weeks ago. During a follow-up MRI on Sunday, doctors discovered the blood clot and the Secretary was admitted to New York-Presbyterian Hospital in New York City, according to reports.

In a statement issued Monday, Clinton's doctors said she suffered neither a stroke nor neurological damage as a result of the clot, and was being treated with blood thinners.
