Disney Just Announced Descendants 3!

Descendants fans got some long-awaited news tonight when Disney dropped a surprise teaser for the third installment of the story. The kids of all your favorite Disney villains are back! You'll just have to wait a while to see them again.

The teaser featured Mal (Dove Cameron) walking through the forest, with an ominous glowing orb hovering in the distance. After approaching and gazing into it, Mal definitely threw fans for a loop by calling out, "Dad?!" Looks like the "trequel" just found its newest villain! If you thought Mal's mother Maleficent was bad, just you wait.

Reprising their roles are Dove Cameron as Mal, Cameron Boyce as Carlos, Sofia Carson as Evie, Booboo Stewart as Jay, Mitchell Hope as King Ben and China Anne McClain as Uma. Additional casting for Descendants 3 will be announced at a later date.

Descendants 3 is scheduled to debut in Summer 2019 on Disney Channel.
