Disney Networks to Air Aladdin in Remembrance of Robin Williams

In honor of Robin Williams, several Disney networks will air his 1992 film Aladdin this weekend, the network announced Thursday.

In honor of Robin Williams, several Disney networks will air his 1992 film Aladdin this weekend, the network announced Thursday.

Williams gave a boisterous and animated (pun fully intended) performance as Genie in the film, one of his most memorable roles. Disney Channel, Disney XD, and Disney Junior are all set to air the movie over the next several days.

Saturday, Aug. 16 (9:00 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.) on Disney Channel

Sunday, Aug. 27 (11:00 a.m. and 7:30 p.m.) on Disney XD

Sunday, Aug. 17 (6:00 p.m.) and Monday, Aug. 18 (11:00 a.m) on Disney Junior

Williams, 63, died Monday of an apparent suicide. His wife, Susan Schneider, revealed Thursday that Williams was in the early stages of Parkinson's Disease when he died.
