Now that The X-Files is (once again) coming to an end, David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson need to line up a few new projects. Or in Anderson's case, actually make a project she signed on to years ago.

When asked to name her most surprising IMDB credit, Anderson pointed to The Curse of the Buxom Strumpet, a zombie-costume drama in the vein of Pride and Prejudice and Zombies.

David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson recall their favorite Mulder-Scully moment

"It's a film with Ian McKellan and Judi Dench. And that would be surprising, because it's not true," Anderson explained.

"Can we - what is it called? -- crowd-fund The Curse of the Buxom Strumpet? Can we please start right now?" Duchovny asked. "Please, America. Maybe not America... England, Europe, English-speaking Europe, former colonies, please crowd-fund The Curse of the Buxom Strumpet."

Watch Duchovny and Anderson's joking plea in the video above.

The X-Files finale airs Monday at 8/7c on Fox.
