Dan Levy's Goodbye Post to Schitt's Creek Is Too Pure for This World

Schitt's Creek, the delightful comedy that perfectly captures the "unexpected joy of being seen," will come to an end after six seasons next year. With the Roses' story winding down, the show's Emmy-worthy cast is sharing sweet photos from the last day of filming that will have you all up in your feelings.

On Friday, co-creator and star Dan Levy delivered a lovely send-off to the series by posting a final shot of the Rosebud Hotel, which became the Roses' home after they lost all of their money, along with a heartfelt message to the cast, crew, and fans.

"That's a wrap, friends. Don't think my heart has ever felt more gratitude than it did last night. Thank you to everyone who made this little show happen," Levy wrote. "To my family, thank you for being patient with me while I fussed over every detail, big and small, for six life changing years. To our magnificent cast and crew, I am still trying to find the words to properly describe the breadth and strength of your talents and how much you've inspired me... To our fans, you've got a season made with a whole lot of love coming your way next year. And lastly, to Prince David, long may you f*cking reign."

Emily Hampshire, who plays the motel's sarcastic co-owner Stevie Budd, also turned to social media to reflect on her time with the show via several throwback pics and a video from her final day on set.

Schitt's Creek returns for its sixth and final season in 2020 on Pop. In the meantime, catch the first four seasons streaming on Netflix.
