Good news, CW fans! The network has picked up an additional season of its entire fall lineup, it was announced at the Television Critics Association winter previews on Sunday.

The eight series ordered for the upcoming 2015-2016 season include Supernatural (Season 11), The Vampire Diaries (Season 7), The Originals (Season 3), Arrow (Season 4), The 100 (Season 3), Reign (Season 3) and this season's newbies The Flash and the Golden-Globe-nominated darling Jane the Virgin.

But where are fan favorites Beauty and the Beast and Hart of Dixie? Read on for scoop on their fates below:

Beauty and the BeastThe beasties can rest easy. At the winter previews, CW president Mark Pedowitz said that although it hasn't been formalized, the network is looking for it to return for a late-May or June return.

Hart of Dixie Pedowitz wasn't quite as decisive about Hart of Dixie's fate but said it wasn't necessarily ending. The CW will watch the ratings and see how it plays before making a decision to renew or cancel.

Supernatural spin-off Despite the failure of the Supernatural: Bloodlines backdoor pilot, The CW is still open to other spin-off ideas.

Crossovers The network is planning a big Flash and Arrow crossover event once a year, much like the "Doctor Who Christmas specials," Pedowitz said. As for Vampire Diaries and The Originals crossing over, he said that would be in the hands of their respective executive producers, who will do it when they feel it's appropriate.

Jane the VirginUnfortunately, because of contractual issues with the studio, the show cannot be streamed right now. Talks are continuing.

More DC The network is looking for another DC project to go with The Flash and Arrow, but so far has not settled on a project Pedowitz feels can "stand on its own legs."

CW Seed Although Backpackers didn't work, The CW is looking for more half-hour comedies for the summer programming.

Star TrekAlthough Pedowitz is a lifelong Star Trek fan and would love to get it on The CW, there's been no discussion of the franchise going out as a TV series.
